Competition Rules
The rules for the monthly competitions have recently changed and can be viewed by clicking here. Please also note that the closing date for digital entries is the week before competition night. All other categories, the closing date is the evening of the competition.
Members Gallery*
If your a fully paid up member you can avail of your own picture gallery on your site. To upload your pictures you require a username and password, ask any committee member or the webmaster. Once you log in, you will be able to enter your own gallery and will have access to functions to add or modify your photographs.
Website pictures look too dark / light
As a website for a camera club, there will be a higher than normal level of photographic content on our pages. It is worthwhile ensuring that your computer monitor is correctly calibrated so you get to see as much as possible what the photographer intended you to see. While this is quite crude, the following tool will help ensure that your monitor is reasonably adjusted for tonal range.
Grey Scale
There are 24 distinct levels of grey in the chart shown above,
ranging from pure white to pure black. You should adjust your
monitor's brightness and contrast until you can distinguish each bar
and the white appears white and the black appears black.
