2009/2010 League Round 4 Results

John Tarrant had the highest scoring image which won the Colour Print section with Nathan Richardson coming a close second, winning the Projected Image section and the members image of the night. New member Osgur Aksoy won the Monochrome Section. Jason Town still leads the league with 297.50 points with Nathan richardson now moving into second place ahead of Danny Foley. Distinctions Success – November 2009

At yesterday’s adjudication at the Tiperrary Institute in Thurles, Michael O’Sullivan achieved Associate Distinction (AIPF) with a (very rare) unanimous vote. Michael’s panel can be viewed via this link over on youtube! Jason Town and Lucia Creedon both achieved Licentiate Distinction. Congratulations to all three who have brought our number of distinction holders to eleven.

2009/2010 League Round 3 Results

What a competition! Jason Town swept the board with a lowest score of a mere 24.5 and the highest a wonderful 28.5. Jason now leads the league with 226 points 34.5 points ahead of the second placed Danny Foley. Grade 2 league is still being led by Shane O’Sullivan and Grade 3 by Veronique Mohally. 2009/2010 League Round 2 Results

Another successul monthly competition judged by Joe Quinn from Clonakilty Camera Club. Honours were split this month. Nathan Richardson won both the print categories, his colour print was voted members Image of the Nigh and his total score for the night was 86.Virginia Kelleher won the Projected category, the Judges Image of the Night and she scored 74 points overall. Virginia now leads the Grade 1 league though her points are less that Shane O’Sullivan who still leads Grade 2.…

The first monthly league competition of the new season was a great success with the judging by Morgan O’Neil from Mallow club being well received. Congratulations go to Shane O’Sullivan for wiping the board with his second colour image, gaining the highest individual mark and the members image of the night as well as the highest scoring Monochrome image.
