Since joining the company in 2007 Stephen has travelled the world extensively, covering some of the world’s biggest sporting events such as Olympic Games, British & Irish Lions Tours, Rugby World Cup, championship boxing and hundreds of international soccer matches. A winner of a prestigious World Press Photo Awards in 2018 for his image ‘Steaming Scrum’. His list of accolades includes seven PPAI Press Photographers Association of Ireland awards across the Sports and Reportage categories. The Kerry native is currently the official photographer to the Republic of Ireland national football team and is renowned for his use of remote cameras across Ireland’s largest stadia, and further afield. He has quite literally shot everyone from Bank Managers to Bond Villains. |

Seminar Time – 2.00pm Speaker – Gareth Loughran Titled – ‘How to prepare, plan and shoot Astro Photography Image’ Gareth will cover how to prepare plan and shoot, astro photography images. How to shoot, where to shoot and what gear you will need to achieve this superb discipline of photography. About – Gareth Loughran is a Limerick based photographer based who specialises in Seascapes, Landscapes and Astrophotography. He is an ambassador for Terrascape filter pouches, NiSi Filters Ireland and a photo-journalist for Camerapixio. He runs workshops following the Milky Way around the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland and teaches how to shoot and process images of the nightsky. He is a regular speaker in Camera Clubs here and has represented different brands at international trade shows in the UK and Germany. He has been published in national and international Astronomy magazines and worked with Kerry County Council for the Dark Sky Reserve in Kerry. |
